Upgrade worth it?

Is it worth the upgrade from 3.X? You bet it is.
Let me just point out some of the features that make it worth it to me.
1. Locks are now their own edit step – This drove me nuts!! I would lock a track and then execute an edit only to undo the edit to change it. Only problem is that the undo of the edit also undoes the lock!! Not anymore! It is its own step now so it will stay the way it is (Unless you unlock it by selecting undo again!
2. Where oh where have my edit points gone?!?! – Ever set an In and Out point on the timeline, drop the video down from the player window and then undo the edit? You have to reset the In and Out points every time!! Not anymore! When you undo the edit the In and out points come back!!!
3. Double Click ease - Want to set an in ands out point quickly on the timeline to replace a clip or cover an empty space? Now all you have to do is make sure the correct track is selected and double click your left mouse button in the timeline ruler over the desired clip or empty space You have your in and out points!
4. Want to delete your in and out points? Easy… instead of keyboard combinations or mouse menus just use the X key and they are gone!
5. The new trim mode is a blessing to the folks that like to use the mouse. You no longer have to remember all of the keyboard shortcuts.
These may sound small but they are HUGE time savers and this doesn’t include the big changes like MultiCam and Multiple timelines!!
If you haven’t taken a close look at Edius 4 you should!!
